Dr. Phil and Penne Wood

Dr. Phil and Penne Wood

 

Pastor Wood and Penne have been married for almost three decades and have four grown children. Phil graduated with a doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and Penne has degrees in math and marriage and family from Bob Jones and Liberty Universities. Other than his late father, Phil has been most influenced by the works of Francis Schaeffer.

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. -Galatians 2:20


Mike and Dora Sutcliffe

 

Mike and Dora Sutcliffe

 

Mike and Dora have been married or 9 years and together they have 5 children. They have served in short-term missions in Malawi, Africa and Shutka, Macedonia. Mike serves as the church manager as well as the Awana Commander and Men's Ministry and oversees the youth ministry programs. Dora serves as the Cubby director and teaches the preschool Sunday School class.

 

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. -Romans 1:16


Welson & Mary Evelyn Cesar

cesarsWelson is originally from Haiti. He attended Moody Bible Institute where he graduated with a BA in Pastoral Ministry and completed his Master's degree in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College.

Mary Evelyn was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She holds a BA in Music and Theater from Louisiana College where she also served on the music ministry for a number years and directed a traveling worship team.

Welson and Mary Evelyn met in Haiti on a mission trip. They have two children, Madeleine and Benjamin. The couple serves on the worship team and Young adult Ministry.

When they aren't working, you'll find them chasing or frolicking with their two energetic children. They enjoy watching movies, drinking Starbucks or hanging out at the local library.

Michael Wood & Elyse Dombrowski

Michael Wood is our Youth Outreach Coordinator at Fellowship Church. Mike grew up in Elmwood Park, Illinois and has lived in Carol Stream for the past 4 years. One of the greatest attributes Mike possesses is his testimony and his heart for meeting students where they're at. He uses his experience and wisdom to reach, teach, connect, and minister to each and every student he comes into contact with.

Mike is passionate about reaching our youth and the youth in the surrounding communities. He has spoken at over 100 schools and to thousands of students sharing his story and testimony. Mike uses his gift of public speaking and his message to impress on the hearts of students coming from many different backgrounds.

Mike is currently engaged and he and his fiancé, Elyse, will be married in March of 2018. His soon-to-be wife has her bachelor's degree in psychology from Illinois State University and her her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. She currently works as a professional LMFT(Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). Elyse specializes in working with teens and their parents, as well as entire families. Together they have seen incredible transformation through their lives and also the lives of the students they come in contact with.

Abby Schindler

AbbySchindlerAbby directs the children's ministry at Fellowship, teaching Sunday school for children K-6, leading K-2nd graders in AWANA, and organizing programming for the many children in our bus ministry. She holds a BA in Psychology from Bethel College and a MS in Disability Studies from UIC.

Abby has three young children at home, and enjoys knitting, spending time with her husband, drinking coffee, and reading in her free time.
