“…Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
– Mark 10:14
What Fellowship kids will be learning this month as we explore the Parables of Jesus!
THIS MONTH’S VISUAL THEME IS AGRICULTURE
As we explore the parables of Jesus, this month’s visual theme is agriculture. The fun addition of Dirty Work will show up in videos, visuals, and lesson dazzle, while our Bible-based lessons will continue to be focused on Scripture.
In Different Kinds of Soil (MATTHEW 13:1-23), Kids will hear the Bible story about different kinds of soil. Kids will learn from the Bible story that God cares how we respond to Him. God gives us the ability to choose how we respond to Him. He wants us to have a relationship with Him and live His way.
In Unmerciful Servant (MATTHEW 18:21-34), Kids will hear the Bible story about the unmerciful servant. Kids will learn from the Bible story that God cares about forgiveness. He offers forgiveness, and we can forgive others when we remember that God has forgiven us.
In Worker and Wages (MATTHEW 19:30-20:16), Kids will hear the Bible story about the Worker and Wages. Kids will learn from the Bible story that God loves and cares about everyone.
The Three Stewards (MATTHEW 25:14-30), Kids will hear the Bible story about the three stewards. Kids will learn from the Bible story what faithfulness means to God, what it means to follow God, and we should always give our best to God.
Bringing the Lesson Home!
Beginning February first Fellowship Kids will begin uploading resources for families to use at home to help support what your child will be learning on Sunday mornings.
Brite Families is a digital weekly resource designed for your family to experience at home discipleship through Biblical application questions and activities.
Each week on the Fellowship Church Website under Children’s Ministry you will find encouragement for parents related to the lesson your child learned this week at church. Families will also find a complementary lesson including videos and fun printable activities to help you reinforce the biblical teachings learned each week at church.
